Microsofts new tripple-CPU-core powered console will be a really nice gadget for X-Mas... wonder if it'll be avail. in Europe then...

The Xbox 360 Fact Sheet has some impressing facts like detachable 20gig harddrive, WLAN, wireless controllers, HD-TV ready, and much more.

MS gave out Xbox 360 development kits to partners already a month ago and officially announced it last week as you could have read on prime media like

The Microsoft Universal Gaming Controller revealed as a prototype at this year's E3 will be designed for use on Windows-based PCs and the Xbox 360, the controller will allow gamers to enjoy a consistent playing experience across Microsoft's gaming platforms.

<quote>
"The universal gaming controller will provide a Windows controller standard that helps game developers bring different genres -- such as racing, sports and action/adventure -- to the Windows platform more easily," said Chris Donahue, group manager of Windows Graphics and Gaming Technologies at Microsoft. "Gamers will have more playing options with a familiar, versatile and well-designed gamepad-style controller."
</quote>

That sounds pretty cool - and what I am keen for is Jeff Minter of Llamasoft (creator of the c-64 classic M.U.L.E) who announced he'll be back on the XBox with a music visualization system similar to the one's that come with Winamp.
