this Hard Drive Features Comparison including decibels proves to be very useful when deciding for your next desktop drive... 180GB or 200GB a little louder for same money, eh?
[New] Moviemaker for P800 Moviemaker allows you to quickly create movies for playback on the Sony Ericsson P800 smartphone. You can take a movie from your DV-camcorder, from a website or from any other source and convert it into a small file, which is optimised for playback on the P800 built-in video player. Watch your favorite tv-show on the train or show your home movies to friends. The software can do a two-click conversion of a video file to a P800 movie. It's easy and fast and all settings are done automatically. The software reduces file sizes, so that a half hour tv-show fits onto a 32 MB Memorystick. A feature film would fit on a 128 MB stick.

Pioneer DVR-A06 DVD±RW recorder including a comparison to two current DVD±RW records from Sony and Sanyo (not the NEC 1300A!). Seems like the A06 has a much better RW-overwrite performance than prev. models...

Wi-Fi Networking News are right, the new Sony CLIE PEG-UX50 has wireless a-plenty, runs Palm OS, but has odd form factor...

The PEG-UX50 is a "landscape clamshell", with a 480 x 320 pixel screen that runs width-wise rather than vertically, as on nearly every other Palm OS handheld to date. It does, however, use the same "Twist and Rotate" flip design as Sony's previous portrait-oriented handhelds. That leaves room for a new, larger keyboard as well. The entire devices measures 103 x 87 x 18 mm when closed, and weighs in at 175 grams.
